Job Vacancy: Family-run hotel seeks Head Chef

Jobs: A well-established and prosperous Donegal hotel are seeking to recruit a head chef to join their expanding kitchen team.

The Highlands Hotel is a family run hotel in the heart of Glenties which enjoys a busy bar and restaurant trade.

Management are seeking to expand their kitchen team and are currently looking to recruit a head chef. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard working chef.

Responsibilities include:

  • To cook and present dishes in all food areas as per menus
  • To assist in creating new menus and dishes when required
  • To comply with HACCP
  • Monitoring and control maintenance and sanitation of kitchen area
  • Assist in the planning of menus

The ideal candidate should:

  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate flair, creativity and skill in the kitchen.
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have excellent management and organisation skills

Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience.

Professional qualifications essential

This is a full-time position, rates of pay are negotiable. Closing date for applications is 12th February 2017.
