THERE are 31 patients without a bed awaiting admission this morning at Letterkenny University Hospital.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) says that 12 of those are on Emergency Department trollies.
The INMO says that there are 417 patients nationally awaiting admission.
The 31 at LUH is the joint second highest in the country.
Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar has 34, with Portlaoise and University Hospital, Limerick also having 31.
