Malin GAA: Club to hold dinner dance this Saturday night

Our Annual Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday 21st January at 7.30pm in the Malin Hotel.

Special Guests on the night are Tom Comack, Sports Presenter and Hugh Devenney, Donegal LGFA Chairman.

There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €700. The numbers drawn were 3-2-7-6-4-1-5. The €50 winner was Vincey McColgan, Carrowmore, Malin. Next week’s jackpot is €750.

 

Our Know Your Parish Quiz will take place on Saturday 25th February from 8.30pm in our Clubhouse. This is where Malin’s town-lands pit themselves against each other in a bid to win the coveted crown of Malin’s smartest townland. It’s never too early to get your team organised. Teams of 4, with €5 entry per person. It’s always a great night of controversy, competition and fun. Please note the Committee’s answers are always right.
Do you enjoy singing and performing? Would you like to be part of a performance group? ‘Rising Stars Music Academy’ is for you. With an enjoyable twist to songs in a fun and cool atmosphere, genres including traditional Irish, pop, country and musical and many more, this is for you. There is no experience or lessons needed, just come with your voice. To enquire for more information and to reserve a place for your child text, contact Annah Lafferty on 0866680565 with name and age of your child. Registration and Information Day will be Saturday the 21st of January from 3-4pm upstairs in the clubhouse. Parents/guardians are asked to attend to register their child. The ‘Rising Stars Music Academy’ will start the following week, Saturday the 28th of January.
12:15-1:00pm 5-10 age group.
1:00-1:45pm 11-16 age group.
Classes will be €5.

 

There will be a coaching workshop on tackling in the Malin GAA clubhouse on the 30th January @ 7pm. The workshop will be ran by Gary Mallon. The workshop is open to everyone so when it’s at our club it will be a great chance to learn something new. Contact Danny Lafferty for more information on 0868988180.

 

Malin GAA will run a Pool League in the Pool Room for 10 weeks, with lots of fantastic Cash Prizes on offer. The Pool League will start next weekend, with all participant names and €10 entry fee to be received this weekend. Our Pool Room is open Saturday & Sunday evening from 8pm-11pm every weekend. The Club Shop is open every Saturday from 12.00pm to 2pm and Sunday from 11.20am to 2pm, alternatively contact Susan Byrne on 9370638 or 0867832242. The shop stocks a great range of in all sizes including coats, jackets, hoodies, tracksuits, socks, shorts, hats, gear bags and much more club merchandise. The club Facebook page has a picture of some of the many items available along with a pricelist.
