Sad passing of Donegal hotelier and publican

The community of Downings is in mourning over the sad passing of businessman John Connor of Downing’s Bay Hotel.

Mr Connor ran the hotel with his family and was well-known in the Downings area. He passed away in Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday 16th January.

Remains are reposing at his late residence. Family time from 11pm to 11am.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 18th, at the Church of St John the Baptist, Carrigart for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
