The New Year is a time for resolutions and new beginnings. Perhaps you have resolved to take a leap of faith and see what exciting educational opportunities are on offer in County Donegal?

Donegal ETB would like to invite you to their Further Education and Training Fair at the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny on Wednesday 25th January 2017 from 11am to 3pm.

It is a great opportunity for you to come along and see the wide range of courses across many areas of study and qualification levels we offer. We’ve something for everyone, whether you would like to brush up on your basic skills, train for employment, inquire about an apprenticeship, upskill to enhance your prospects or look at third level options, we’ve got it covered.

Tutors and current students will be available on the day to share their experiences and answer any questions you might have. You can see for yourself what it means to consider a return to learning.

If you’re still unsure what option is right for you, there will be staff available to advise and guide you. Universities, I.T.’s and Colleges of Further Education will be there to offer information on options for those who may be considering progressing their studies.

In addition to education and training providers, we also have Citizens Information, Department of Social Protection and SUSI Student Grants available to share their knowledge and expertise on what supports are available to enable you to return to learning.

For those more focused on employment, we’ve added two free workshops. Grace Ann McGarvey will talk about using Social Media in your Job Search in her ‘Thinking Outside the Box’ seminar, and Lynn McLaughlin will explore ‘The Hidden Job Market’ and the importance of networking to give you that competitive edge and help you land that job.

For further information on the Further Education and Training Fair please contact Donegal ETB Adult Guidance and Information Service on 0749178088, or email: adultguidance@donegaletb.ie or visit us at 2nd Floor, McKendrick Place, Pearse Road, Letterkenny.
