ONE MAN has been arrested and is being questioned after another substantial drugs bust in Letterkenny last night.

Cannabis and cocaine were seized by Gardaí following two searches in Letterkenny’s Lower Main Street.

Cannabis with an estimated street value of €4,000 was found in one search and in another €2,000 worth of cocaine and €1,100 of cannabis was seized.

Gardaí say the searches were conducted as part of an ongoing operation into drug-related activity in Letterkenny.

The latest development follows the arrest of a man on Monday following three raids in Letterkenny.

Last night, a man was arrested and is currently being held for questioning at Letterkenny Garda Station.

Gardaí are appealing to anybody with any information on the sale or supply of drugs in Donegal to contact their local Garda station or the Garda confidential telephone line on 1800 666111.
