MICHAEL MURPHY had begun training with top French rugby side Clermont Auvergne as part of AIB’S ‘Toughest Trade’.

The Donegal captain is spending this week with the Top 14 side in Clermont-Ferrand after Welsh rugby legend Shane Williams spent some time at Glenswilly recently.

Williams played a match for Glenswilly at full-forward against St Mary’s, Convoy and now, as part of the series to be televised next month on RTÉ, Murphy is trying his hand with the oval ball.
