Termon GAA club offer sympathy to family of Oran Nibbs (7)

We offer our sincerest sympathies to Colm, Aisling, Aoibheann and Riain Nibbs on the death of Órán.

Órán was just 7 years old, and had fought bravely and gallantly against mitochondrial disease during those 7 years. His big brother Riain plays under 10 football, and parents know Colm from helping out with under 10 coaching when he is able to.

His teammates, as well as those from Kilmacrennan Celtic, provided a very respectful guard of honour after Órán’s funeral Mass on Monday, and we thank them very much for representing us all so well at the funeral.

Suaimhneas síoraí ort a Órán, i measc na n-aingeal ar neamh atá tú anois, agus is mór do chailliúint.

STEWARDS TRAINING

A Stewards Training Course will be held on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th February in the Villa Rose Hotel.  New people to act as stewards at games are very welcome at this course.  Details in relation to time will be circulated nearer the date.

LOTTO

Last week’s lotto draw took place in Nora’s in Kilmacrennan.  Numbers drawn were 3, 20, 21 and 28.  There were no jackpot or match 3 winners.  Open draw winners were Catherine Black and Emma McDevitt. This week’s draw takes place in the Glenveagh Inn, with Kevin McElwaine and Conor Tinney co-ordinating, and the jackpot is €1,100.

BINGO

This week’s bingo takes place at 9pm in An Craoibhín, with over €3,600 in prizes!  Single books are only €10 and €15 for a double book.

CIORCAL COMHRÁ

Would you like to practise your cúpla focal over a cup of tea in an informal, relaxed setting?  if so, come along to the upstairs meeting room at An Craoibhín at 9 pm on Friday night, where we will have the kettle boiled and an hour practising our “is maith liom cáca milis”, with no mention at all of the modh coinníollach or the tuiseal ginideach!!  Come along and try it out for a night, comhluadar agus caife, all free of charge!

DONEGAL LADIES

Best of luck to the Termon girls with the Donegal ladies as they play Armagh at 2pm on Sunday at St Mary’s Convoy.
