Buncrana GAA: Last Man Standing competition to run for National League

A presentation night will take place in O’Flahertys Bar on March 16th. This will be an informal event with presentations for our senior teams.

Buncrana GAA are running a Last Man Standing competition based on the GAA National Football League 2017. 

Entry is just €10 with €150 to the winner! Entry is easy, just click the link and sign up to ‘Buncrana GAA Last Man Standing’ then choose your winning team for Week 1!

Well done to all our coaches who attended the coaching course given by Philip Kerr. Many thanks to all who helped provide refreshments and also our club players who took part.

Club Rules

Some of  our teams are back out training with most due to follow in the coming days/weeks, with this in mind can you all click on the attached link and familiarise or refresh your memory on some of the Club Rules https://www.buncranagaa.ie/About/ClubRules with that said these rules are not exclusive to managers these apply to everyone in the Club so please take time to read them.

Garda Vetting

It is extremely important that anyone involved with underage members of our Club are Garda Vetted on the new E Vetting system.  Please relay this information to all your helpers/coaches/mentors etc.  This is a really simple process which is done online just click on this link and follow the steps http://www.gaa.ie/the-gaa/child-welfare-and-protection/

 

Well done to Crana College who are the Ulster Hurling Champions for 2017.

An Ulster coahcing course will take place in Malin tomorrow evening (Monday). Cars leaving from the club at 7pm. Topic is Tackling for Scores.

Donegal Senior Ladies Gaelic Football:

Very proud day for the club with Caroline Gallagher and Paula McGrory playing very well for Donegal Senior Ladies against Armagh in LIDL National League Division 1 winning by 4-10 to 0-11 with Paula scoring 2-1.

Well done girls!

U10 boys football at Crana College from 7.30 to 8.30.

U13 & U14 girls football at The Scarvey from 6.30 to 7.30.

Senior ladies football, preseason running from 7.

Tuesday – 

None

Wednesday –

U14 hurling in The Scarvey from 6.30.

Senior ladies football at Illies Community Hall from 7.

Thursday – 

U7 boys football at Buncrana Youth Club from 6 to 7.

U8 boys football at Buncrana Youth Club from 7 to 8.

U9 & U10 boys football at Illies Community Hall from 6.30 to 8.

Friday – 

U6 boys and girls football at Buncrana Youth Club from 6.30 to 7.30.

U12 boys football at Buncrana Youth Club from 7.30 to 8.30.

Saturday –

None

Sunday – 

U6 & U8 hurling at Crana College from 11.

U10 & U12 hurling in The Scarvey from 11.
