Donegal Sports Talk is here – you can listen to the first episode now of our new, weekly podcast.

Donegal Sports Talk is the first joint venture between Donegal’s number 1 news website and Donegal’s top sports website following Thursday’s announcement that the sites are joining forces.

Colm McFadden, Sinead Jenning, Jason Quigley and the McHugh All-Stars – Martin, Mark and Ryan – join us for the first airing.

Ahead of the start of the Allianz League next weekend, Colm McFadden talks about Donegal’s prospects following his retirement – after scoring 25-434 in 170 Donegal appearances – and gives us an insight into just how different life is as a county footballer now compared to his early days.

Sinead Jennings was named as the 2016 Donegal Sports Star of the Year on Friday night at the Donegal Sports Star of the Year Awards. The Letterkenny woman reached the women’s lightweight double sculls final at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

Jason Quigley will fight for his first professional boxing title in March. The Ballybofey man takes a massive step in his career when he takes on Glen Tapia for the vacant NABF middleweight title on March 23 at Fantasy Springs, Indio.

At the Donegal Sports Star Awards on Friday night, Martin, Mark and Ryan McHugh were presented with a special Sporting Acknowledgement Award. All three are All-Star winners following Ryan’s selection on the GAA/GPA All-Star Team in 2016.
