Ollie Horgan’s Finn Harps squad continue the build up to the big kick off against Cork City at Finn Park on February 24th today with a friendly at the City Calling Stadium.

Under Alan Mathews, Longford have recruited well in the close season and will be among the favourites to clinch the single promotion slot available in this year’s first division.

Harps opened their pre-season campaign with a win at Maginn Park over the Inishowen League, with Danny Morrissey and Ciaran O Connor getting the goals.

Further games are planned against Institute on Tuesday 7th and Sligo Rovers on February 14th, both away as work continues on the Finn Park pitch.
