‘Catholic flashmob’ wedding video goes viral!

A surprise flashmob at the wedding of Daniel O’Donnell’s niece has become a viral hit after reaching over 1.4 million views online.

The video was taken at the wedding ceremony of Patricia Doogan and her fiancée Neil Swan on Friday, Feb 3rd. St. Mary’s Church in Kincasslagh came alive with a beautiful performance of ‘How Great Thou Art’ which stunned all the guests and moved the bride to tears.

Patricia and Neil got married in Kincasslagh and the reception was in Gaoth Dobhair. Father Pat Ward was the celebrant at the wedding, and the wedding guests showed everyone what a ‘Catholic flashmob’ would look like!

The star-studded video features Daniel and Majella O’Donnell Fr. Pat Ward, Shawn Cuddy, Derek Ryan, Fergal Flaherty, John McNicol, Chris O Donnell, Tony Allan, Tony Kenny, Vicki Kenny, Trionagh Allan and Annette Griffin and Gavin Boyle.

Since being uploaded to Facebook on Saturday, the footage has already gained over 1.4million hits and thousands of shares.
