Donegal student Megan McAuley literally wrote herself into the history books last year.
The Loreto Secondary School, Letterkenny student received first place in Ireland for history in the Leaving Certificate in 2016.
Among the first to congratulate Megan were her parents Pauline and Joe, history teacher Sena McCreanor and school principal Nora Friel.
