There will be a pitch inspection carried out at Finn Park at 10am tomorrow ahead of the Finn Harps v Cork City game.

Harps are set to open their new season with a clash against last season’s FAI Cup winners, who are captained by Ballybofey man Johnny Dunleavy, tomorrow night.

Some areas of the Finn Park surface have felt the brunt of Storm Doris and Harps officials have requested that it be inspected tomorrow morning.

“The weather hasn’t been great and there was very heavy rain, so we have put a call in for a precautionary pitch inspection,” said Harps Secretary John Campbell at a press briefing today at the Clanree Hotel, Letterkenny.
