Ollie Horgan felt that Finn Harps could have ‘scraped a draw’ from tonight’s game against Cork City, but he had few complaints.

Sean Maguire’s goal, in the 45th minute, was the night’s sole arbitrator as Harps fell to a narrow loss.
Cork were reduced to ten men in the 75th minute – five minutes after Harps gave a first run-out to Paddy McCourt – but the Rebels held on.

“I thought Cork shaded it,” Horgan said.
“It was a scrappy game, but they had the better of the chances. It was disappointing.
“When Garry Buckley got sent off, it evened it up a bit and we got possession that we didn’t get up to then. They’re a decent side; it was a battle and they got out on the right side of it.
“We probably didn’t create enough to merit getting anything. We could have nicked something from a set piece.
Cork came and battled. They can play, without a shadow of a doubt, but they came tonight and battled as well. Cork deserved to win.”
