Kee’s Hotel Stranorlar have been awarded a CIE Award of Excellence at the prestigious CIE Tour Awards for the 16th year in a row.

It was another glittering evening for senior figures from the Irish hospitality industry who attended the CIE Tours International 27th Annual Awards of Excellence at a Gala Reception in Dublin City Hall.

These national awards, chosen exclusively on customer feedback, acknowledge hotels and other tourism providers who consistently exceed clients’ expectations.

For the 16th consecutive year, Kee’s Hotel was recognized for its outstanding contribution with Vicky Kee presented by Elizabeth Crabill, CEO, and Vivienne Jupp, Chairman of CIE Tours International.

2016 was another excellent year for CIE Tours with the main group business coming from USA, Canada and Australia. Elizabeth Crabill reported that revenues were up to €100million, with more than 320,000 bednights booked across Ireland last year.

In recent times, Donegal has been voted the coolest place on the planet by National Geographic Traveller,  so it was great to enjoy more local success as Slieve League Cliffs was awarded the prestigious National Heritage Award.
