Illistrin National School had lots of excitement this week when they celebrated their Annual International Day.
Each pupil dressed up in their national costume and brought in foods from all around the world which best represents their family traditions and customs.
Every pupil had the opportunity to sample the wide array of foods on show from all over the world, highlighting just how diverse and multi-cultural Illistrin N.S has become.
Parents and the local school community were also invited to call into the school hall to see International Day in action. The hall was decorated from top to bottom with beautifully colorful class displays entitled “We are Global Citizens”, a theme which is at the heart of the school and their school community. A great day was had by all!
