Stunned Sligo man hopes to move home after winning GAA House Draw

The first place winner of the St Eunan’s GAA Super House Draw has said he was delighted with the good news and stunned by his new fortune.

Justin Brett won a brand new three bedroom home worth €155,000 at Rann Mór, Oldtown, Letterkenny.

The software developer from Tubbercurry in Co. Sligo is currently based in London, but hopes the big win will allow him to return home to Ireland.

Justin told Paul McGovern from St Eunan’s GAA club how this prize will be a life-changing moment for him. He said he is both delighted and stunned by the news after the winners were announced on Easter Sunday.

The winning ticket was one of three bought by Justin online through Brian McCormick Sports.

Everyone who purchased a €100 ticket was in with a chance to win the keys to a new home at Rann Mór or one of ten incredible prizes.

Here is the full list of winners from the draw:

1st prize – 33 Rann Mor Meadow, a semi-detached house in a popular estate in Letterkenny –  Justin Brett, London

2nd prize – One weeks all-inclusive Mediterranean cruise for 2 people – Gerard Traynor, Emyvale, Co Monaghan

3rd prize – Weekend for 2 in Ashford Castle & Country Estate, including dinner and breakfast- Eamonn Doherty, 7 Glen Park, Mountain Top, Letterkenny.

4th prize – One year family membership to the Mount Errigal Hotel Leisure Centre – Michael McMenamin, Dooish, Ballybofey

5th prize – €1,000 worth of petrol, coal or home heating oil from Tinney’s Oil – Niall Dunne – 1 Tara Court, Letterkenny

6th prize – 2 night package, for 4 people, including sea view room, afternoon tea or dinner and a spa treatment at Shandon Hotel – Padraig McCafferty, Elmwood Downs

7th prize – 50” LED TV in association with Ben Sweeney Euronics Letterkenny –  Grace Rodgers, Kiltoy, Letterkenny

8th prize – €1,000 gift voucher for Evolve Menswear Letterkenny – Pauline McElroy, 17 Hazelwood Drive, Letterkenny

9th prize – €1,000 worth of fuel from Top Oil, Letterkenny – George Gambell, Churchill
