Guess which Donegal man is most Googled person on the Falkland Islands?

Last December, Time magazine compiled a list of each country’s most Googled person.

Ireland, like many others, chose a certain Donald Trump.

But the Falkland Islands chose a certain Donegal man.

And before you start the wild guessing, it wasn’t Jim McGuinness, Seamus Coleman or Shay Given.

It was, in fact, Daniel O’Donnell.

Daniel is hugely popular around the world but the reason that the Kincasslagh man is the most Googled name in the Falklands is because people there just love country music.

And it appears that all 2,563 of its inhabitants are just mad about our Daniel.

And yes, the chances are that he would indeed sell out the local town hall if he ever toured there!
