The 2017 Donegal Senior Snooker Championship will be decided tonight Monday 8th May in the CYMS snooker club Letterkenny with both the Semi best of 7 and final best of 9 being played from 6:30pm.

The semi-final line up has 16 year old junior player Sean Devenney from the Northwest snooker club up against seasoned campaigner Gareth Kirwin from Cyms with both looking to reach their first final. On his way to the semi, Sean beat defending champion Pete Donegan in the quarters3-1 and in the round before he had highest break of tournament so far when he compiled a great 100 even against Shaun Bonner.

In the second semi we have the 9 times Champion Anthony Bonnar up against 6 times Champion Johnny Connors in what should be a cracker, they also met at this stage last year with Anthony just edging it 4-3.

Matches get under way at 6:30pm and everybody is welcomed to come along and support the players.
