U16 Boy’s
Red Hughs Under 16 boys secured 2 points on Friday night in the last game of the group stages of their league. An excellent team performance throughout with each player working their socks off. The boys played with a stiff breeze in the 1st half and worked up a tidy lead. They upped their work rate in the 2nd half in anticipation of a Letterkenny Gaels coming out strong in the 2nd half with the breeze in their favour. The work rate of each player and subs that came on proved the vital difference. Training for this group will be 7.30 on Wednesday this week.
U12 Girls
Our under 12 girls played their last match in the group stages at home on Tuesday evening against Convoy . In an exciting match where scores were exchanged at both ends of the pitch both teams had the option of ‘roll on roll off’ substitutes to facilitate their large panels , the final score showed Convoy had won by the narrowest of margins 3-4 to 3-3 . The management would like to thank the parents who came out to support the girls and providing the tea afterwards, to Martin Doherty for refereeing and to Maura for her help this evening .
Fixture Changes
All fixture changes for underage games need to go through Kathy/Ciaran. As our seasons is in full swing and it’s important that executive is informed to avoid confusion. this is also a insurance issue. Also reminder that we cannot fix any games on thursday night.
