Attempted abduction of child by man on motorbike

Gardai have confirmed they are investigating an attempted abduction of a child in the Magheroarty area of West Donegal.

The incident happened on Wednesday when the child was approached by a man on a motorbike.

The man allegedly offered the boy a lift on the bike before the schoolboy ran off.

The bike is understood to be black and white in colour.
