Popular local choirs, The Conwal Singers and the Strabane Chamber
choir, join forces under the baton of Mr. Gerard Bradley, for two
performances of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem.

Fauré’s Requiem is a well known and much loved sacred piece in seven
short movements, for four part choir with soprano & baritone
solo, orchestra and organ.

Each choir will perform a few select pieces from their own repertoires
before joining to perform the Faure Requiem.

The first performance takes place in Melmont Church, Strabane on
Thursday 11 May at 8pm, with the second performance in St. Eunan’s
Cathedral, Letterkenny on Friday 12th May 8.30pm.
