The Donegal Under-16 ladies defeated Armagh in style on Sunday to win the Ulster Under-16 ‘C’ title.

Liam Skelly’s team blitzed the Orchard to win by 20 points in the end, thanks to a 5-11 to 0-6 triumph at Killyclogher.

Donegal led 1-5 to 0-3 at half-time.

A fine team move ended with Niamh McDonald bagging a goal, while Satires Bonner and Niamh Skelly were among the scorers.

At the start of the second half, McDonald and Lauren Carr landed two quick fire goals for the Donegal side and they were comfortably on their way.

With the likes of Clodagh Skelly, Ellie Barron and Aobh Faulkner standing tall, Donegal were in no mood to let their advantage slip.

Carr bagged her second goal while Sarah Harkin also netted as Donegal won convincingly.

“We’re delighted to have ended the season on a high,” Donegal boss Skelly said.
