Mr. Conor Boyce, a strategic marketer who has worked in senior management positions for nearly thirty years, will lead a new workshop this Thursday, 25th May, in Dungloe, to explain how to develop a digital strategy to promote your business online.

This free workshop, part of a series of training workshops within Donegal Digital project, will introduce you to the digital marketing world and provide you with useful tools to analyse your business current situation, the customer and the market, and also to develop the right marketing plan that fits your needs.

You will also familiarize with an extremely relevant tool to develop your online business, Web Analytics, to learn how to help boost and streamline online activities: acquisition, conversion rate optimisation and building retention.

“Where does social media fit into overall marketing / sales objectives?”, asks Mr. Conor Boyce. He recommends identifying 5 or 6 ways of acquisition. According to Boyce, the best way to develop a digital strategy is to “keep it simple, don’t over-complicate things. Know your metrics”. Definitively, what you will learn by attending this workshop.

“Everybody needs SEO and Social Media and need to be able to be smart”, adds Mr. Boyce. To achieve this objective, each participant will undertake in-class exercises in relation to topics such as:

  • Identify top three business objectives
  • Defining your business model
  • Identifying most optimum target market subsets
  • Identifying sources of competitive advantage
  • Mapping out customer personas
  • Company SWOT analysis
  • Understanding your value proposition
  • Identifying Macro and Micro website conversions
