Yet another business attacked in Carndonagh

Doors and double glazed windows of the Five Keys Kitchen, Bridge Street, Carnodnagh were smashed in the early hours of Thursday morning.

This is just the latest of a spree of attacks on businesses in the area with Carolina’s Hair and Make Up on Chapel Street being broken into and robbed just last month.

The attacks are prompting calls for the establishing of a business watch scheme in the area as well as appeals from businesses for more Gardaí to patrol the area.

Councillor Albert Doherty spoke about the attack: “I am getting the sense of exasperation, that such wanton acts are being committed in our town and I mean, with the Gardaí we need to see that these people were taken to account sooner rather than later.”
