Picture Special: 1,500 participants take part in Walled City Marathon

Beginning at 8:30am, 1,500 participants began the 26.2 mile SSE Airtricty Walled City Marathon.

Beginning at Everglades Hotel, the marathon will finish at Guildhall Square in Derry.

Organisers are also staging a 10k challenge and 10 mile challenge.
