Nathan Carter – Daniel helped me break America

Country star Nathan Carter has revealed how Daniel O’Donnell has helped him break America.

The country star’s first American tour started this weekend and he’s been preparing for it for many months, including airing a TV show on PBS that he had filmed in Dublin last Christmas.

Carter admitted that O’Donnell, who is on his own world tour, had “very kindly” spread the word of Carter’s tour and the pair will be travelling around the States together.

He wrote: “My friend Daniel O’Donnell has very kindly been helping me to spread the word on his own current tour in that part of the world.

“We are going to be travelling around the US and Canada for three weeks in September, playing places like Detroit, Iowa City, Louisville, Pittsburgh and Boston.”

Carter also mentioned that O’Donnell had called him up to tell him to record a short video about his September tour which he could play during the intermission of O’Donnell’s shows.

The singer said: “That had been a great help in spreading the word over there, so needless to say I appreciate everything Daniel is doing for me on that front.”
