North American Middleweight Champion and Donegal’s very own golden boy Jason Quigley paid a very special visit to Gairmscoil Chú Uladh for their annual prize giving ceremony held on Wednesday the 31st of May.
Jason spoke to the school community about the importance of choosing a career path that you love and enjoy and also told the students that they should always be proud of the Irish language and their ability to speak it.
Jason who originally comes from the Finn Valley area has ties with a number of students in the school.
Gairmscoil Chú Uladh has high hopes for a future champion boxer in TY Student Eoin Mac Fhearail who won the Ulster Final U-16 this year.
