Baby Caolan Melaugh passed away yesterday surrounded by his family at his home in Killygordon after a long illness.

At just two-years-old, Caolan had been battling an aggressive form of cancer since he was just ten weeks old. He was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, and despite two lifesaving brain surgeries in Michigan, Caolan sadly suffered a relapse.

Caolan will be dearly missed by his mother Stacey, father Gerard, brother Eoghan, grandparents, uncles, aunts, extended family and friends.

Caolan will leave his home on Saturday afternoon at 12:15pm for a Mass of the Angels at 1pm in St. Patrick’s Church in Killygordon, with internment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

The house is private please; family and friends are welcome.
