Road resurfacing is scheduled to take place at Ardmalin, Malin Head, on Tuesday 27th , Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th June 2017.
Donegal County Council and Failte Ireland state that in the interest of health and safety, access to the Signature Discovery point along the local road, L5011-1, will be prohibited for periods on these dates, particularly during working hours.
These works are being carried out as part of the Malin Head Access & Amenity Improvement Project which include:
• Road widening to accommodate passing bays, associated drainage improvements and surfacing
• Localised road widening adjacent to the lower carpark, to accommodate bus parking spaces
• Extending existing car park facilities to incorporate additional car parking spaces
• Construction of a toilet block
• Provision of services and utilities via the public road
Donegal County Council & Failte Ireland wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused due to the planned road surfacing works.
