A series of attacks on local businesses in Carndonagh has prompted the establishment of a Business Watch scheme.

The first meeting will be held tonight (Tuesday 27th June) in the Colgan Hall, at 7.30pm.

Recent criminal attacks and break-ins in the town will be top of the agenda. Sergeant Paul Wallace, the Garda Crime Prevention Officer, will be in attendance and is expected to provide advice on security to help businesses to prevent further incidents.

Local representatives Cllr Albert Doherty, Cllr Jack Murray and Senator Padraig MacLochlainn are inviting all business owners and interested parties to attend.
