LUH trolley numbers third highest in country today

35 people are waiting to be admitted to Letterkenny University Hospital today, making LUH  the third busiest hospital nationally today.

According to the INMO, 15 are on trolleys, with 20 waiting in ward overflow areas.

The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital Dublin is the second busiest, with 38 patients are waiting on trolleys, and Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded with 40 people awaiting admission.

In total, 375 people are waiting for a bed, 265 of whom are on trolleys.
