A major rescue operation is underway after a car overturned and slipped into waters near Lifford.
The single vehicle accident happened just after 7pm between Porthall and St Johnston.
It is understood there was more than one person in the car.
The local emergency services backed up by the Rescue 118 helicopter have rushed to the scene.
