How did they do – it’s the class of 1992!

Those of a nervous disposition should look away now.

It was an era of floppy fringes but many of them would just be happy to have a full head of hair today!

Yes, the class of 1992 from St Eunans College in Letterkenny have decided to have a reunion.

The idea, like so many dodgy ideas back in the early 1990s, was that of Sean McEwen, Paul Doyle and Brian McBrearty.

The idea came to the lads as they traveled from various parts of the country for publican Harry Blake’s funeral back in January.

Details of the event are still unfolding but the lads are planning to meet at the college on August 26th at approximately 5pm.

A spokesman for the organisers said current principal Chris Darby has been very obliging with their plans for a mass and they hoping to have some history and photos on show.

“There may even be an odd teacher of the era in attendance. The lies or misremembered truths will carry on afterwards in The Orchard Inn on the High Road.

“All those who were in the 1987 intake at the College are welcome to attend. Even those who left for greener fields by fate or force are welcome.”
