Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Friday, July 21.

 

Rose MCLAUGHLIN (née Maguire)
The death has occurred of Rose McLaughlin (nee Maguire) Cloghore, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, July 20th, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.

Reposing at the family home from 10am Friday until 10pm. Arriving at Saint Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon, on Saturday for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by interment in the Abbey Cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by her loving husband Willie, sons Gerry, Liam, Maurice, Martin, daughter Catherine, brother John, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces and entire family circle. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if so desired, to The Irish Alzheimer’s Society or The Rock Nursing Unit c/o Patsy McCauley Funeral Director. House Private to Family on Saturday morning.

 

Celine GILLESPIE (née Doherty)
The death has occurred of Celine Gillespie (née Doherty), Glencovitt, Ballybofey, Donegal, peacefully at University Hospital, Letterkenny in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Anthony and much loved mother of Josephine, Kathleen, Aidan, Tony, Mary, Geraldine, Vinnie and Celine. Sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family circle, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at her home on Friday, July 21st, from 5pm. Funeral leaving her home on Sunday, July 23rd, at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill with interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to St. Joseph’s Hospital Patients’ Comfort Fund c/o any family member. Family time from 11pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

 

Francis Joseph MCGINLEY
The death has occurred of Francis Joseph McGinley, Loughmult, Bruckless, peacefully at Arch View Lodge Nursing Home, Letterkenny.

Reposing at his residence since yesterday. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in Church of St. Joseph and St. Conal, Bruckless with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The Arch View Lodge Nursing Home, Letterkenny, Patients Comfort Fund. Family time from 10pm to 11am.

 

Bridget MCGRATH (née Aiken)
The death has occurred of Bridget McGrath (née Aiken), Drumherrive, Ramelton, Donegal.

Reposing at her late residence. Funeral Mass took place this morning at 11am in St. Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan followed by burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 11am. Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to the Donegal Hospice.
