Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Sunday, July 23.

 

Roisin JENKINS (née Duffin)
The death has taken place of Roisin Jenkins (née Duffin), Passage West, Cork and formerly of Belfast and Leeds, on July 22nd peacefully in the presence of her loving family, beloved wife of the late David, much loved mother of Moira, Elinor, Jennifer, Roisin and Ben and sister of Moira, Harriet, Maeve and the late Andrew. Will be sadly missed by her family, grandchildren and friends.

Reception prayers at 7.00pm on Monday evening in St. Mary’s Church, Passage West. Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Tuesday. Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. Internment of cremated ashes will take place in The Holy Cross Cemetery, Dunfanaghy, Co.Donegal at a later date. Family flowers only please.

 

James TORRENS
The death has taken place at Galway University Hospital of James Torrens, Green Acres, Blairstown, Castlefin.

Remains are reposing at his residence. Removal from there on Tuesday, 25 July, at 2pm for Service in Donoughmore Presbyterian Church and burial afterwards in the family plot in the adjoining churchyard. Family time from 11pm to 11am. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Donoughmore Presbyterian Church Funds care of Gibson Funeral Directors, Convoy.

 

Anne DUGGAN (née Mc Hugh)
The death has taken place July 22nd 2017 at Letterkenny University Hospital of Anne Duggan (née Mc Hugh), 1 Chestnut Grove, Coneyburrow Road and formerly of Fintown.

Beloved wife of the late John James, much loved mother of Denise, mother-in-law of Geoffrey, dearly loved grandmother of Joshua and Emma and sister of Maeve and the late Peadar, Winnie, Sean and Pat. Reposing at her home on Saturday (July 22nd) from 8.30p.m. Funeral leaving her home on Monday (July 24th) at 10.20a.m. for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 11a.m. Interment afterwards in St Mary`s Cemetery, Castlefin. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, sister, friends and family circle. Family time please from 11p.m. to 11a.m.

 

Margaret MCGONIGLE and Mairead MUNDY
The tragic deaths have taken place of mother and daughter Margaret McGonigle and Mairead Mundy. Margaret McGonigle and Mairead Mundy will repose at Mrs Mundy’s residence in Ballyloughan, Bruckless from 5pm this evening. The removal takes place on Monday morning, going to the Church of Saint Joseph and Saint Conal in Bruckless for funeral mass at 11am, with the burial taking place in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 11am.

There will be a shuttle bus service to the wake house from Bruckless National School.


Racheal Cassidy BATTLES

The tragic death has taken place of Racheal Cassidy Battles. Racheal will repose at her late residence in Ballyloughan, Bruckless from 8pm this evening. The removal takes place on Monday, to the Church of Saint Joseph and Saint Conal in Bruckless for 2:30pm funeral mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 11am.

There will be a shuttle bus service to the wake house from Bruckless National School.
