Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Saturday, July 29.

Charlie BOYLE
The death has occurred of Charlie Boyle, Dollie, Leabgarrow, Arranmore Island at his daughter Carmel O’Connor’s residence, Churchill. Charlie; dearly beloved husband of the late Irene. He will be very sadly missed by his loving sons Colum, Killian, Mark, Paul and daughter Carmel, partners, grandchildren, sisters Mary, Francis and Sheila, brother John, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

His remains will be leaving McGlynn’s Funeral Home, Dungloe this (Saturday) afternoon, 29th July at 3pm for the Arranmore Ferry at 3.30pm, going to Arranmore Island. His remains will repose at his late residence. Funeral Mass in St. Crone’s Church on Monday, 31st July, at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Maureen THOMPSON
The death has occurred of Maureen Thompson, Main Street, Killygordon, peacefully at her home after a short illness. Sadly missed by her extended family, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing on Saturday, July 29th, at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey, from 7 pm until rosary at 9 pm. Removal to her home on Sunday, July 30th, at 12 noon. Funeral leaving her home on Monday, July 31st, at 10.30am for requiem Mass at 11 am in St. Patricks’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon, with cremation afterwards. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to The Oncology Dept, Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o any family member or G.Mc Cool & Son, Funeral Directors.

House is private at the request of the deceased, family and friends are welcome.
