Job Vacancies: Family support service seeks Qualified Family Visitors

Job Vacancies: Lifestart Services CLG is seeking to recruit Lifestart Family Visitors (Initially 1 year – full-time 30 hrs per week)

Essential:

1. Recognised qualification in Early Years and Social Care or equivalent in Team Leading or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years practical experience working with families and young children, or 5 years practical experience working with children and families in a community setting in a paid capacity.
2. Have experience in:
   1. Home Visitation
   2. Working with parents, individually or in groups
   3. Reporting
   4. Networking
3. Have multi-tasking, time management and excellent communication skills.
4. Hold a clean driving licence and use of a car for work purposes.

Desirable:

1. Experience in delivering home based educational and family support programmes and a good appreciation of family and cultural differences.
2. Parenting/family support
3. Have IT Skills e.g. (Word Processing, Power Point, Excel)
