Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Wednesday, August 2.

 

Martha Jane CONNOR (née Gamble)
The death has taken place at Altnagelvin hospital of Martha Jane Connor, nee Gamble, formerly of Pransallath, St. Johnston, Co. Donegal.

Removal from her late home, 22 Dunnbane Gardens, Caw, on Wednesday, 2nd August, at 1.30pm with Service in Kilfennan Presbyterian Church at 2pm followed by burial in Ballyowen Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to Foyle Hospice.

 

Breid BOYLE (née Mc Loone)
The death has occurred of Breid Boyle (nee Mc Loone), Mullaghduff, Kincasslagh, Co. Donegal at Letterkenny General Hospital, after a long illness. Sadly missed by her loving husband Owenie, her children John, Grace, Mary, Joseph, Anne, Ita, Teresa, Owen and Bernadette, by her sister Sr. Anne Mc Loone, her brother-in-law John Mc Bride, her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her home in Mullaghduff from 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 2nd and from 10.00 a.m. Thursday, August 3rd. House private 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. daily. Removal to Star of the Sea Church, Annagry for Requiem Mass on Friday, August 4th arriving at 11.00 a.m., with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to ‘Patient Comfort Fund’, Dungloe Community Hospital, Co. Donegal.

 

Sinead AYRES (née Moloney)
The death has occurred of Sinead Ayres (née Moloney) 25 Lawn Park, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, July 31st 2017 surrounded by her family in the wonderful care of the staff in I.C.U. University Hospital Sligo, Sadly missed by her loving husband Michael, darling children Kenzie and Natalia, heartbroken mother Ann and sister Aoife, brothers-in-law, sister-in-aw, nieces, nephews, and extended family circle.

Reposing at the home of Thomas Ayres, 55 Assaroe View, Ballyshannon from 11.00.am Wednesday until 10.00.pm arriving at Saint Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon on Thursday morning for 11.0.am Mass of the Resurrection followed by interment in the Abbey Cemetery. Family Flowers only, donations, if so desired, to ICU Unit, Sligo University Hospital c/o Patsy McCauley Funeral Director or any family member. Family time on Thursday morning.

 

John (Unkie) GRANAGHAN
The death has occurred of John (Unkie) Granaghan, 21 Bridget’s Terrace, Bundoran, Donegal.

Reposing at his late residence today from 11am to 9pm. Removal tomorrow, Thursday morning, at 10.30am to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Bundoran for 11am Mass with burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. House private to family on the morning of the funeral please. Donations to North West Hospice.
