Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Thursday, August 3.

 

Ann DUNCAN (née Crawford)
The death has taken place of Ann Duncan sorely missed by all her family Ann is reposing at her own residence, Druminor, Buncrana where she will leaving Friday afternoon at 1.15 going to Christ Church, Main Street, Buncrana for 2 o’clock Service followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Alzheimer’s Association. House private 10pm to 10am.

 

Eric MC ELHINNEY
The death has occurred of Eric Mc Elhinney, Tirhomin, Milford, Donegal, reposing at his home from 3.00pm today, Thursday. Funeral Service on Saturday at 1.00pm in Holy Trinity Church, Carrigart, followed by interment in Milford Church of Ireland Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife Agnes, son Paul, daughters Carole, Sandra and Heather, sons-in-law Ray, Stuart and Steve, daughter-in-law Clare, sister Bertha, brother Cyril ,grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Family flowers only – donations in lieu to Irish Heart Foundation or Tear Fund care of Mc Elwee Funeral Directors or any family member. House private each day from 9.00pm to 11.00am and on the morning of the Funeral.

 


Oisin GILMORE

The death has occurred of Oisin Gilmore, Meenacrieve, Annagry, Donegal.

Reposing at his mother Maura’s home, Main Street, Annagry from 1pm today, Thursday, 3rd August. Funeral Mass on Saturday, 5th August, in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Annagry at 11am followed by burial in the New Cemetery. House strictly private until 1pm today, Thursday, 3rd August. Rosary both nights at 9pm. Family time please from 11pm until 10am. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Annagry Day Centre.

 

Samuel James (Sammy) JOHNSTON
The death has occurred of Samuel James (Sammy) Johnston, Crieve Glebe, Letterkenny, Donegal, peacefully at the Donegal Hospice, predeceased by his daughter Tory (15th July 2015), deeply regretted by his loving wife Helen (née Dorrian), devoted father of Amy, sadly missed by his parents James and Annie (Knocknamona Park), brothers Mark (Gortlee) and Robert (Knockbrack), sisters Linda McMenamin (Carnone), June Dunleavy (Kirkstown), Pearl (Knocknamona Park), Roberta Lawne (Drumany, Donegal Town) and Laura (Calhame), mother-in-law Mona Dorrian (Ard Colmcille), in-laws, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Sammy’s remains are reposing at his home. Funeral from there on Saturday 5th August, going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the Donegal Hospice, c/o Paschal Blake, Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny. Family time, please, from 11pm until 11am and on morning of the funeral.
