Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Saturday, August 8th.

 

Frank MCDAID
The death has occurred of Frank McDaid, The Star of the Sea House, Glencrow, Moville, Donegal.

Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Letterkenny took place yesterday at 2pm, to his late residence. Removal on Sunday, August 6th, at 12.30pm for 1pm Requiem Mass in St. Pius X Church, Moville with burial afterwards in Ballybrack Cemetery. Family time from 11pm till 11am.

 

Clare CRYAN
The death has occurred of Clare Cryan, Ballsbridge, Dublin / Letterkenny, Donegal, August 2, 2017 (peacefully) in the tender loving care of the staff of Ashbury Nursing Home. Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Cecilia and sister of their infant son Brendan, stepdaughter of the late Margaret and much loved sister of Séamus and Conleth. Sadly missed by her loving brothers, sisters-in-law Éilís and Anne, nieces, nephew, grandniece, extended family, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 9, at 11am, Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook. Prayer Service on Thursday, August 10, at 11.30am St. Joseph’s Church, Galway, followed by burial in Rahoon Cemetery, Galway. Family flowers only.

 

Johnny CONLON
The death has occurred of Johnny Conlon, Killult, Falcarragh. Devoted husband to Annie, father to Richard and Donald, brother to Tony, Kevin and Hugo. Sadly missed by his family, his five grandchildren, daughter-in-law, sisters-in-law and a wide circle of friends and relatives.

Johnny’s remains are reposing at his late home in Killult. Rosary will be held on Friday and Saturday nights at 10.00pm. Family time from after the Rosary until 10.00am and on the morning of the funeral. Funeral from there on Sunday morning, 6th August, for 11 o’ clock Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Enquiries to Mc Clafferty Funeral Directors, Gortahork.

 

Mandy BOYCE
The death has occurred of Mandy Boyce, Towneylough, Carrigart, Donegal.

Reposing at his late residence. Funeral tomorrow, Saturday, 5th August, in the Church of the St. John the Baptist for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 11pm until 10am.

 

Mary MC NELIS
The death has taken place at The Harbour Lights nursing home, Killybegs of Mary Mc Nelis, The Post Office, Loughros Point. Her remains will leave Shovlins Funeral Home, Sandfield today at 4pm travelling to her late residance.

Funeral from there on Monday afternoon at 12.30pm to The Church Of The Holy Family, Ardara for 1pm Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
