Donegal drivers are back in the spotlight again for all the wrong reasons.

Gardaí have a shared a photo of their speed camera after it spotted a driver going more than twice the speed limit in Inishowen.

The driver, who was stopped by the Traffic Unit in Buncrana, had been driving at 168km/h in an 80km/h zone.

According to the Gardaí, who posted the story to their Twitter account, the driver was “arrested and taken to Garda Station where further breath analysis [was] carried out.”

The breath analysis found the driver to be over the legal alcohol limit, according to the tweets.
