Dungloe Fire Station has raised a massive €7,760 for Donegal Hospice following their annual car wash last Saturday.

Martin O’Donnell told Donegal Daily that this was the biggest sum ever raised during their annual car wash due to the generosity of the community and the large amount of people who came to Dungloe to attend the Mary from Dungloe festival.

“We would like to thank all who helped out and donated, it was a great day for us because of the Mary from Dungloe festival which had attracted large numbers of people which helped us raise so much money.

“This is the largest we at Dungloe Fire Station have raised over the years on the car wash day and we are proud to have all the help and support from the community.”
