This colony of seals were spotted basking in the summer heat today in Donegal.
The happy herd had a lazy day at Tramore beach at the holiday resort of Cuan na Ri. Some 21 seals were pictured by eagled-eyed reader Emma Wallace. It looks like some then got tired of waiting on the sun and went off for a dip in Sheephaven Bay!
Met Eireann have forecast a warm weekend for the North West, so hopefully the seals will catch some of those promised sunny spells between showers!
