All roads lead to Trentagh fun-filled weekend!

The final touches have been done now for the seventh year of the Trentagh fun weekend events and they are delighted to have put together a great line up of entertainment for all the family from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th August.

With the funds raised from the event, they last year presented a huge €6,000 to Churchill Community Playgroup, Rathdonnell National School, and Trentagh National School – and also bought a defibrillator for the local area.

This hugely successful community event not only raises much-needed funding in the area – but it strengthens the great community in Trentagh and is a great occasion for young and old to meet and people from far and near who come to Trentagh every year.

Thinking of attending? You are guaranteed entertainment for all the family this weekend!

Some of the events lined up are; a football match in Gartan which sees married men face off against single men, the Damien Crossan Memorial Darts Competitions, a 5K fun walk, a barbecue, The Danny Boyle Memorial Clay Pigeon Shoot, Tractor Run, Cycle Race, treasure hunt along with kids entertainment, and live music by David James, Eddie Gallagher, Off the Kuff and M + D karaoke.

The committee would like to thank all of their sponsors who have been so loyal and supportive of this event over the years and their community really appreciates the continued support.

They would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Harley family of Trentagh, who without their continued support, wouldn’t be able to host this weekend at all. A special thanks goes to the late Joe Harley who played a huge role in making it successful in every way.
