A major search operation has been launched as a diver has gone missing twenty miles north of the Fanad Head peninsula.
The missing diver was reported to Malin Head Coast Guard at 4:30pm.
Lough Swilly Life Boat, the Sligo-based Rescue 118 helicopter, and a number of local boats are searching the area for the diver.
It is understood that a number of the divers had been exploring shipwrecks in the area. The alarm was raised after all divers reported back expect for one.
The identity and nationality of the missing diver are not yet known.
