Want to know how fast a dolphin can really travel?
Check out this video just posted by Bundoran Lifeboat Station.
The encounter was filmed by the crew of the lifeboat as it raced to a recent emergency call-out.
The boat appears to be traveling at a very fast speed but the dolphin has no problem keeping up with it.
A spokesman said “During a recent callout, a dolphin in the bay decided he wanted us to get there safely and flanked us for a few moments.”
Check the top right-hand side of the screen to see the speeding creature.
