This week’s blog from Castle Grove Country House Hotel, outside Letterkenny, looks ahead to their appearance at an exciting event for food lovers.

It’s been one of our busiest summers ever here at Castle Grove and as autumn draws in, there’s no sign of us slowing down! This weekend we’re off to make our debut at the ‘A Taste of Donegal’ Festival in Donegal Town.

Last year’s hugely successful event was attended by almost 28, 000 people who descended on the pier to enjoy the food tasting, demonstrations and music. This year the festival taking place from Aug 25th – 27th, promises to be bigger, better and bolder than ever before and so what better time for Castle Grove to join the fun?!

We’ll be bringing a sweet touch to the festival with our Signature Afternoon Tea Boxes perfectly selected and packed to enjoy at the festival or bring home to enjoy with a cup of tea later. Almost as good as the real thing, the boxes give you a little sample of the beautiful pastries and desserts that make up part of the exquisite afternoon tea experience here at Castle Grove Country House.

You’ll find us in one of the large marquees dotting the views of the Bluestack Mountains and Donegal Bay alongside a wide range of exhibitors and food enthusiasts. A Taste of Donegal has long since established itself as the premier annual food and drink event in the North West of Ireland.
