A teenager with strong Donegal connections, who died at the weekend
was described as a “loving person” who “put a smile on everyone’s
face”.

Emma Doogan (19) passed away suddenly at Meelmore Drive in Omagh on
Saturday afternoon. On her Facebook page she describes herself as
being from Ballyshannon.

Hours before her death the former Sacred Heart College pupil posted a
heartfelt message to her sister Rebecca on her social media page.

Emma described how she loved her sister “forever and always”.

Her grieving sibling said she had been left “speechless” by Emma’s
sudden death.

Dozens of online tributes were posted in the hours after the tragic
news emerged.

Close friend Eireen McAleer posted on Facebook: “You were like a best
friend and a sister I never had. You were there when I needed someone
the most.

“You were the kindest and bubbly girl I ever met in my life and you
always seem to put a smile on anyone’s face.”
